#f2bc44;\"><strong>India Collaborative Leadership Program<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Most of our schools begin with a 10-21 day program, where faculty and students visit a rural partner school in Africa, Asia, Latin America or the U.S. Our hope is that this initial program begins a long-term sister-school relationship that over time becomes integrated into the learning environment of both schools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3000\u3000<span style=\"color: #f2bc44;\">\u5408\u4f5c\u578b\u4e3b\u5bfc\u6027\u7684\u9879\u76ee\uff1a<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u5e73\u65f6\u53c2\u52a0\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u5b66\u6821\u5148\u53c2\u52a0\u4e00\u4e2a10-21\u5929\u7684\u9879\u76ee\uff1a\u53c2\u52a0\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u8001\u5e08\u548c\u5b66\u751f\u53bb\u4e00\u4e2a\u519c\u6751\u7684\u5b66\u6821(\u5728\u975e\u6d32\uff0c\u4e9a\u6d32\uff0c\u62c9\u4e01\u7f8e\u6d32\uff0c\u6216\u7f8e\u56fd\u7684\u519c\u6751\u5b66\u6821)\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u5e0c\u671b\u8fd9\u6700\u521d\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u53ef\u4ee5\u8ba9\u53c2\u52a0\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u5b66\u6821\u548c\u519c\u6751\u7684\u5b66\u6821\u5f00\u59cb\u4e00\u4e2a\u957f\u671f\u7684\u5173\u7cfb\uff0c\u4ece\u800c\u628a\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5173\u7cfb\u548c\u8c10\u5730\u7edf\u4e00\u5728\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u6559\u80b2\u73af\u5883\u4e0b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Our Collaborative Leadership Programs are designed to be challenging learning experiences that involve the following learning objectives, adapted with permission from Asia Society\u2019s work on Global Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5408\u4f5c\u578b\u4e3b\u5bfc\u6027\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u76ee\u7684\u5c31\u662f\u7ed9\u5b66\u751f\u548c\u8001\u5e08\u4eec\u6311\u6218\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\u7684\u673a\u4f1a\u548c\u7ecf\u5386\u3002 \u4e0b\u9762\u6709\u5177\u4f53\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\u7684\u76ee\u7684\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Investigate the World: Before the program, students form and participate in \u201cAffinity Teams\u201d focused on global issues such as climate change, poverty and education. During the program, students and faculty from both cultures work on a school-focused Community Project, participate in Collaborative Learning Sessions, and spend time together in the community. When appropriate, traveling students stay with host families.\u63a2\u7a76\u4e16\u754c\uff1a\u9879\u76ee\u5f00\u59cb\u4e4b\u524d\uff0c\u5728\u5c0f\u7ec4(\u53eb\u201cAffinity Teams\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>\u53c2\u52a0\u5173\u4e8e\u5168\u7403\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\u548c\u8ba8\u8bba(\u4f8b\u5982\uff0c\u5173\u4e8e\u5168\u7403\u6c14\u5019\u6539\u53d8\uff0c\u8d2b\u7a77\u548c\u6559\u80b2\u7684\u95ee\u9898)\u3002\u5728\u53c2\u52a0\u9879\u76ee\u4e2d\uff0c\u4ece\u56fd\u5916\u548c\u672c\u5730\u7684 \u5b66\u751f\u548c\u8001\u5e08\u90fd\u4e00\u8d77\u4e13\u6ce8\u5e2e\u519c\u6751\u7684\u5b66\u6821\u7684\u793e\u533a\u7684\u8ba1\u5212\uff0c \u4e00\u8d77\u53c2\u52a0\u5408\u4f5c\u578b\u5b66\u4e60\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\uff0c\u8fd8\u6709\u5728\u793e\u533a\u4e00\u8d77\u4f11\u606f\u804a\u4e00\u804a\u5929\u3002\u5982\u679c\u6709\u9002\u5408\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\uff0c\u5916\u6765\u7684\u5b66\u751f\u4f1a\u8ddf\u4f4f\u5bb6\u4f4f\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Recognize Perspectives: Our leadership approach emphasizes self-awareness and the study of local leaders. We believe our community leaders are powerful case studies in global leadership. Students work to understand the perspectives of these leaders and learn to tell their own \u201cleadership stories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u4e86\u89e3\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u770b\u6cd5\uff1a\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u4e3b\u5bfc\u6027\u7684\u6559\u5b66\u65b9\u5f0f\u5f3a\u8c03\u81ea\u6211\u610f\u8bc6\u548c\u5411\u672c\u5730\u9886\u5bfc\u5b66\u4e60\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u76f8\u4fe1\u6211\u4eec\u793e\u533a\u7684\u9886\u5bfc\u672c\u8eab\u5728\u5168\u7403\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u4e0a\u5c31\u662f\u6210\u529f\u7684\u4e8b\u4f8b\u3002\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u5b66\u4f1a\u53bb\u7406\u89e3\u8fd9\u4e9b\u9886\u5bfc\u7684\u89c2\u70b9\uff0c\u4e5f\u4f1a\u4e86\u89e3\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u5982\u4f55\u6210\u4e3a\u9886\u5bfc\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Take Action: During the program, students will work on a Community Project to build school infrastructure such as a classroom, dining hall or playing field. Students will learn how to take meaningful and responsible action in response to a local need or issue. WLS alumni have a history of continuing this \u201ccall to action\u201d in their future academic and professional work.<\/p>\n<p>\u6267\u884c\u529b\uff1a\u5728\u53c2\u52a0\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u5c06\u4f1a\u4e3a\u793e\u533a\u5efa\u9020\u6821\u56ed\u8bbe\u65bd\uff0c\u6bd4\u5982\u6559\u5ba4\uff0c\u98df\u5802\uff0c\u7bee\u7403\u573a\u3002\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u5c06\u5b66\u4e60\u5982\u4f55\u91c7\u53d6\u6709\u6548\u548c\u8d1f\u8d23\u7684\u884c\u52a8\uff0c\u53bb\u56de\u5e94\u793e\u533a\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u9700\u6c42\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u89e3\u51b3\u4ed6\u4eec\u9762\u4e34\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u4e16\u754c\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u5b66\u9662\u7684\u6821\u53cb\u5728\u65e5\u540e\u7684\u5b66\u672f\u548c\u4e13\u4e1a\u5de5\u4f5c\u4e2d\uff0c\u90fd\u80fd\u628a\u8fd9\u79cd\u201c\u6267\u884c\u529b\u201d\u4ed8\u8bf8\u5b9e\u8df5\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Communicate Ideas: At the end of the program, students will craft and share a leadership story. The leadership story is a chance for students to reflect upon who they are, what they have learned, and what lies ahead.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u6c9f\u901a\u60f3\u6cd5\uff1a\u9879\u76ee\u5373\u5c06\u7ed3\u675f\u65f6\uff0c\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u5c06\u4f1a\u521b\u4f5c\u548c\u5206\u4eab\u4e00\u4e2a\u5173\u4e8e\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6545\u4e8b\u5c06\u7ed9\u5b66\u751f\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e00\u6b21\u673a\u4f1a\uff0c\u53bb\u5448\u73b0\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u8c01\uff0c\u4e86\u89e3\u4ed6\u4eec\u5b66\u5230\u4e86\u4ec0\u4e48\uff0c\u672a\u6765\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u7b49\u5f85\u4ed6\u4eec\u53bb\u5b8c\u6210\u3002<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f2bc44;\">Our Approach to Leadership Development<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3000\u3000<span style=\"color: #f2bc44;\">\u6211\u4eec\u63d0\u5347\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At World Leadership School, we believe there isn\u2019t just one way to be a leader. Great leaders have a wide variety of styles, approaches and personalities, but they do share a few things in common:<\/p>\n<p>\u5728\u4e16\u754c\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u5b66\u9662\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u76f8\u4fe1\u6210\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u9886\u5bfc\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u4e0d\u6b62\u4e00\u79cd\u3002\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u9886\u5bfc\u6709\u7740\u591a\u6837\u5316\u7684\u98ce\u683c\uff0c\u65b9\u6cd5\u548c\u4e2a\u6027\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e5f\u5448\u73b0\u51fa\u4e00\u4e9b\u5171\u540c\u70b9\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>1.Leaders lead from their strengths and compensate for their weaknesses;<\/p>\n<p>\u61c2\u5f97\u626c\u957f\u907f\u77ed\u3002<\/p>\n<p>2.Leaders are active listeners who know that multiple perspectives lead to better solutions;<\/p>\n<p>\u61c2\u5f97\u503e\u542c\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\u591a\u5143\u5316\u7684\u89c6\u89d2\u610f\u5473\u7740\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u89e3\u51b3\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>3.Leaders have a compelling leadership story that they embody with their words and actions every day.<\/p>\n<p>\u4ed6\u4eec\u62e5\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c5e\u4e8e\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u6545\u4e8b\uff0c\u4ee5\u6b64\u6fc0\u52b1\u4ed6\u4eec\u8a00\u884c\u4e00\u81f4\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Our leadership program begins with helping students develop self-awareness. Through an assessment based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), we help students understand their unique \u201ctemperament,\u201d or personality style. Through understanding their own strengths and weaknesses, students build self-awareness and begin to develop a sense of themselves as leaders.<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u9879\u76ee\u6700\u521d\u662f\u5e2e\u52a9\u5b66\u751f\u63d0\u9ad8\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u81ea\u6211\u8ba4\u8bc6\u3002\u901a\u8fc7Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)\u6d4b\u8bd5\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4f1a\u5e2e\u52a9\u5b66\u751f\u660e\u767d\u4ed6\u4eec\u81ea\u8eab\u7684\u884c\u4e3a\u65b9\u5f0f\u6216\u4e2a\u4eba\u7279\u8d28\u3002\u901a\u8fc7\u4e86\u89e3\u81ea\u8eab\u7684\u957f\u5904\u548c\u77ed\u5904\uff0c\u5b66\u751f\u4f1a\u5efa\u7acb\u8d77\u6b63\u786e\u7684\u81ea\u6211\u8ba4\u8bc6\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u5f00\u59cb\u9010\u6b65\u63d0\u9ad8\u4ed6\u4eec\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u9886\u5bfc\u7684\u81ea\u6211\u8ba4\u8bc6\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Next, we focus on the study of local community leaders. These individuals serve as inspiring examples of how to overcome obstacles and unite people around a common need or issue. By analyzing the leadership styles of local leaders, students learn that leaders operate from a variety of styles and temperaments. This realization is affirming for students who think leadership is mainly about being popular or having a lot of social connections.<\/p>\n<p>\u63a5\u4e0b\u6765\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5c06\u4f1a\u4e13\u6ce8\u5728\u5f53\u5730\u793e\u533a\u9886\u5bfc\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u4e0a\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u5728\u67d0\u4e9b\u65b9\u9762\u90fd\u662f\u5f88\u6fc0\u52b1\u4eba\u7684\u4f8b\u5b50\uff0c\u6bd4\u5982\u5728\u9762\u4e34\u9700\u6c42\u6216\u95ee\u9898\u65f6\uff0c\u5982\u4f55\u514b\u670d\u56f0\u96be\u548c\u56e2\u7ed3\u4eba\u4eec\u3002\u901a\u8fc7\u5206\u6790\u5f53\u5730\u9886\u5bfc\u7684\u9886\u5bfc\u98ce\u683c\uff0c\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u5c06\u4f1a\u4e86\u89e3\u5230\u6b63\u662f\u591a\u6837\u5316\u7684\u98ce\u683c\u548c\u4e2a\u6027\u7279\u8d28\u9020\u5c31\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e9b\u9886\u5bfc\u3002\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e0a\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e5f\u4f1a\u4fee\u6b63\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u4e4b\u524d\u5f62\u6210\u7684\u201c\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u5c31\u662f\u53d7\u6b22\u8fce\u7684\u80fd\u529b\u201d\u3001\u201c\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u5c31\u662f\u793e\u4ea4\u80fd\u529b\u201d\u7b49\u7b49\u9519\u8bef\u8ba4\u8bc6\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The culmination of our Learning Sessions is the Leadership Story, where students articulate a story about who they are and where they are going. After immersing themselves in a rural community, working together with host community students, and taking a break from technology, students are in a unique position to ask: Who am I? What have I learned? What will I do in the future?<\/p>\n<p>\u8fd9\u4e2a\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u9ad8\u6f6e\u662f\u201c\u6545\u4e8b\u73af\u8282\u201d\uff0c\u2014\u2014\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u521b\u9020\u4e00\u4e2a\u5173\u4e8e\u201c\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u8c01\u201d\u548c\u201c\u4ed6\u4eec\u8d70\u5411\u54ea\u91cc\u201d\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\u3002\u901a\u8fc7\u63a5\u53d7\u4e61\u6751\u7684\u6d78\u6da6\uff0c\u4e0e\u4e3b\u529e\u65b9\u7684\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u4e00\u8d77\u5b66\u4e60\uff0c\u77ed\u6682\u5730\u4e0e\u79d1\u6280\u544a\u522b\uff0c\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u5904\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7279\u522b\u7684\u4f4d\u7f6e\u4e0a\uff0c\u4f1a\u88ab\u4e0d\u65ad\u95ee\u8d77\uff1a\u6211\u662f\u8c01?\u6211\u5b66\u5230\u4e86\u4ec0\u4e48?\u6211\u5c06\u6765\u4f1a\u505a\u4ec0\u4e48?<\/p>\n<p>We aspire to help students find passion and purpose in their lives. We believe that students who explore a passion and purpose outside of themselves from an early age will learn and work in more productive and powerful ways in college and in their careers. As our study of WLS alumni demonstrates, our programs \u201cempower young leaders to find innovative solutions to the world\u2019s pressing problems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u4eec\u7aed\u529b\u5e2e\u52a9\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u627e\u5230\u4ed6\u4eec\u751f\u547d\u7684\u6fc0\u60c5\u548c\u76ee\u6807\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u90a3\u4e9b\u5e74\u5c11\u65f6\u5c31\u80fd\u8df3\u51fa\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u5708\uff0c\u53bb\u63a2\u7d22\u6fc0\u60c5\u548c\u76ee\u6807\u7684\u5b66\u751f\uff0c\u80fd\u591f\u5728\u4ed6\u4eec\u540e\u6765\u7684\u5927\u5b66\u548c\u5de5\u4f5c\u5f53\u4e2d\uff0c\u53d8\u5f97\u66f4\u52a0\u5177\u6709\u521b\u9020\u6027\u3001\u6709\u5f71\u54cd\u529b\u3002\u6b63\u5982\u6211\u4eec\u5bf9\u4e16\u754c\u9886\u5bfc\u529b\u5b66\u9662\u6821\u53cb\u7684\u8c03\u67e5\u663e\u793a\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u201c\u6388\u6743\u5e74\u8f7b\u7684\u9886\u5bfc\u8005\u4eec\u53bb\u627e\u5230\u5e94\u5bf9\u4e16\u754c\u7d27\u8feb\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u521b\u65b0\u578b\u9014\u5f84\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3000\u3000<span style=\"color: #f2bc44;\">India\u3000\u3000\u5370\u5ea6<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>India\u2019s diversity is immense: over 1 billion people, 18 main languages, 844 dialects and six main religions. India\u2019s rise as a global super power is no longer in doubt. It is fast developing into an open-market economy and has been growing at a rate of seven percent (7%) per year since 1997. The average person still earns less than $2 a day. Almost a quarter of India\u2019s population lives in extreme poverty, according to the World Bank. Children of the small elite in India receive excellent education in British-style private schools, but there is little or no education at all for people at the base of the pyramid, particularly women. Only about half of the female population is literate by the age of 15. Both the primary and secondary schools are overcrowded and under-funded. According to a recent survey by the World Economic Forum, India\u2019s elementary schools are among the worst in the world. In the mornings, we work on the primary Community Project, which will be designed in consultation with the needs and desires of the local community. After lunch, we will have time to pursue specific interests, such as cultural activities and playing sports, or to explore and deepen personal bonds with community members. On many evenings the group will reconvene for Learning Sessions designed to promote the understanding of global issues, leadership and local culture. On the final day in the community, we will have a community celebration to celebrate the Community Project.
